Oak discard from local builder in Devon made into a wall hanging wood tile with a wood burnt mallard duck design added using the pyrography method. These ducks are a firm favourite for me as I can study them locally at Torcross in Devon giving plenty of reference material. Adding with a little acrylic to emphasise the subtle dark green colouring.
 
Wire hung, finished with 2 layers of matt lacquer for protection.
