I am an artist and designer maker working from my Devonain studio aka the garden shed. I work with sustainable and native wood, creating contemporary bespoke one-off pieces and functional products. My wood burnt art is nature inspired and I am self-taught in the field of pyrography.

 

My handcrafted pieces have a story to tell whether it be an offcut from a local boat builder to a storm fallen oak in the farmer's field. I have respect for my materials and let the wood guides me to form the perfect combination of art and function. From wall art to grazing platters, large oak door blocks, and chopping boards through to candle holders amongst other things.

As a child, I grew up in rural Devon amongst the beauty of woodlands and coastal scenery where my passion for both nature and wood began. I'm a Green Maker Initiative member, I am trying to create a deeper connection to an
