Cedar discard from local builder in Devon made into a wall hanging wood tile with a wood burnt  jellyfish design added using the pyrography method.

Jellyfish become quite apparent in the waters around Slapton at certain times of the year.. Such wonderful and intriguing creatures I keep finding myself drawing them.  Absolute delight to create this piece with a little acrylic to emphasise the reflective colouring. 
 
Wire hung, finished with 2 layers of matt lacquer for protection.
