Oak discard from local builder in Devon made into a wall hanging wood tile with a wood burnt  design added using the pyrography method. Honey bees are a regular here in South Devon and I am lucky to have access to seeing them. Such wonderful insects and so inspirational. Absolute delight to create this piece with a little acrylic to emphasise the subtle yellow colouring.
 
Wire hung, finished with 2 layers of matt lacquer for protection.
