Cedar discard from local builder in Devon made into a wall hanging wood tile with a wood burnt  design added using the pyrography method. Cabbage White butterflies are prevelant in my garden here in South Devon and love to see them each Spring. Such beautiful insects and so inspirational. Absolute delight to create this piece with a little acrylic to emphasise the gorgeous pale green colouring.
 
Wire hung, finished with 2 layers of matt lacquer for protection.
