Scrap wood piece from local sawmill in Credition, mid Devon made into a wall hanging wood tile with a wood burnt Canadian Goose design added using the pyrography method.
 
Inspired by the Canadian geese taking residence at Torcross in Devon, next to Slapton Ley. Its a gem of a place where you can sit and take photos of the wildlife in their natural habitat without disturbing them. I loved creating this piece with added white acrylic to emphasise their trademark colouring. 
 
Wire hung, finished with 2 layers of matt lacquer for protection.
