Scrap wood piece from local sawmill in Credition, mid Devon made into a wall hanging wood tile with a wood burnt  garden Snail design added using the pyrography method.

Snails aren't the prettiest but are intriguing creatures.  However the perfect models as they move so slow you can grab the perfect shot.  I'm surprisingly delighted how this piece has turned out with a little acrylic to emphasise the subtle colouring. 
 
Wire hung, finished with 2 layers of matt lacquer for protection.
