Scrap wood piece from local sawmill in Credition, mid Devon made into a wall hanging wood tile with a wood burnt Red Admiral butterfly design added using the pyrography method.
 
Inspired by this butterfly bathing himself on the hot pathway in my garden, luckily for me he didn't mind me taking a photo. Absolute delight to create this piece with added white and orange acrylic to emphasise their trademark colouring. 
Wire hung, finished with 2 layers of matt lacquer for protection.
